Meet Jennifer Cooper
Originally from Hattiesburg, MS, Jennifer Cooper now resides in Chicago, IL. She is widely recognized for her intelligence, ambition, and compassion. As the eldest of seven siblings, Jennifer has developed strong leadership skills and a deep sense of responsibility. With over 30 years of experience in nursing, her career spans roles as a certified nurse assistant, licensed practical nurse, registered nurse, and, most recently, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).
Jennifer has served in a variety of healthcare settings, including home health, hospice, and nursing homes. She has also held positions in nursing home administration, hospitals, and behavioral health facilities. In addition to her clinical work, she is a CNA instructor and RN-T for the state of Illinois.
Jennifer holds a BSN from the University of Texas at Arlington and an MSN from Walden University, where she also completed a post-master’s Certificate as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
Known for her leadership, compassion, and dedication to evidence-based care, Jennifer has made a significant impact in nursing education and professional development. For example, she established a mentorship program for new nurses, pairing them with experienced mentors to support their transition into clinical practice. This initiative has improved retention rates and fostered a supportive environment for professional growth.
With expertise in nursing leadership, education, and clinical skills, Jennifer is committed to teaching and empowering others. She believes in helping others excel and reach their full potential.

Meet Halima Maynard
Born and raised in Maywood, Illinois, Halima Maynard is known for her resilience, ambition, and warm personality. She is the youngest of six children and a dedicated nursing professional with 20 years of healthcare experience across skilled nursing facilities, hospitals, and nursing universities. She holds a BSN from Chamberlain College of Nursing, an MSN in Nursing Education from Purdue Global University, and a Post-Master’s Certificate as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner from Walden University.
With expertise in nursing leadership, education, and behavioral health, Halima Maynard is known for her compassion, innovative teaching, and commitment to quality care. She excels at enhancing patient outcomes, developing staff, and leading healthcare initiatives with integrity.
